Hi I am Ivan Ramirez, a current Sophomore at Gompers Preparatory Academy (GPA).

I love technology, learning, and I'm passionate about aviation. I earned my Ham Radio License and helped lead projects in model aviation and flight simulators, where I have fun teaching my classmates how to fly and enjoy creating new solutions together. I'm motivated by my thirst of knowledge and the challenge of difficult tasks. I value integrity, volunteer service, and respect and I look forward to being in a community that challenges me to be my best both academically, physically and mentally.

At GPA, I work hard and am really involved in my academics, like math and English, leadership roles like the Associated Student Body and Robotics Mentor, and community service like Bucket kids where we pick up trash every day afterschool. I also took part in various other activities, which I think helped me develop my character, leadership and teamworking skills.
